Safety
Why is identity verification essential?
Identity verification is required to propose exchanges. It is handled by Didit; Stayban receives only the result needed to update the profile.
Does Stayban manually review homes?
Yes. The team reviews listing details, photos, availability and key information before publishing a home.
Is the exact address public?
No. Listings show an approximate location and protect sensitive information.
Exchanges and credits
How do I propose an exchange?
An identity-verified member chooses dates and exchange type. The other member can accept, refuse or propose new dates.
How do credits work?
Identity verification gives 3 credits. In non-simultaneous exchanges, credits can be locked and transferred after confirmation and feedback.
Can I exchange a room?
Yes. A room can be published if the listing is clear. In non-simultaneous exchanges it is worth 0.5 credits per night.
